Friendship Place Friends & Neighbors Breakfast 2023

Friendship Place can’t accomplish our mission to rebuild the lives of our neighbors working to escape homelessness without our supporters and want to let you know about our premier fundraising event of the year coming up this fall. 

You are invited to participate in our Friends & Neighbors Breakfast on October 19th at the Washington Hebrew Congregation.

If you can’t attend, will you consider being a sponsor or contributing? 

The 2023 theme is the “30th Anniversary of the Welcome Center” our first location and a place where people living on the street can rest in a comfortable environment, get meals and mail, do laundry, and seek medical care. 

Our goal is to raise $120,000 primarily for the programs that depend on private funding. These include the Welcome Center, Street Outreach, AimHire jobs program, and Before 30 (which serves vulnerable youth 17-29). This Breakfast also raises money for ‘extras’ for Neighbors First Families and Individuals, Veterans, and those exiting Valley Place (singles and couples) and The Brooks (primarily young moms and young children).

Networking will be at 8:00 AM with our inspirational program at 8:30 AM. We strive to keep the program to one hour.
